Good day, TCN!

Here are a few updates to let you know what's happening at the TCN.

First, I'd like to give a huge thank you to all of our volunteers! We are a 100% volunteer run network that's bringing the circularity community closer together and we wouldn't be here without You!.

Now, last month's TCN Thursday was our first of many round table workshops. Robert walked us through small and full group discussions, sharing insights into when, if ever, the best time to demolish was, and what strategies & alternatives to demolition exist. We discussed case studies, examples, and ended with a list of actions our community can take: from visualizing circularity for everyone, petitioning, educating others, to awarding success. From this, the TCN team is working on an Actions List that we know has great potential that just needs people to spearhead them. Reach out to us to get involved.

Getting Involved is Action! This month we are hosting our second round of Circular Collab, an event designed to get people involved and collaborating on circular action. Laying out what the network has to offer (that's all of us) and what the circular movement needs connects people, skills, and impact. Hosted by BDP Quadrangle, TCN's Breanne & Hailey will share insights from our last Circular Collab and lead an action focussed workshop growing circularity for the future.

Lastly, we're building a Deconstruction Guide. A way to show Toronto how to think differently about construction, demolition, and design. Currently, we're diving into case studies, analyzing what's out there to focus our guide for maximum impact! Stay tuned for more!
